The Haunted Hike

The cast and crew of The Haunted Hike would like to thank each and every one who came out this year. Because of all your support, we were able to exceed last years donation. In the seven nights The Haunted Hike was open, we saw just over 5100 people and raised $14 295.00 for the Stollery. Thank-you all again and we look forward to seeing you in 2010.

The Glowatsky's and The Timperley's would also like to extend special thanks to so many of their friends who came out each and every weekend to be 'characters'; Graeme from Sparky's Electrical who made operating the hike so much easier this year; Jennifer Brosseau, Tourism Development, Strathcona County for helping advertise the Hike; Second Cup on Baseline Road for providing the Spooky Snack Shack 'two for one' coupons; The Colchester School students who collected money for the Stollery on behalf of the Haunted Hike; Darryl Plunkie from dEdmonton for advertising our event; and The Sherwood Park Radio Club who were so professional and organized and able to park a record number of cars in our subdivision.

Thank-you again to everyone involved; we appreciate all of you!!

A Half Mile of Horror...

The Haunted Hike was created by a group of Sherwood Park residents as a fundraiser for the Stollery Children's Hospital.

This one of a kind trail walk is designed as a family event. It is important to know that all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout the Haunted Hike. We recommend that younger children come between 7 and 8PM, as the Hike has a completely different atmosphere as night falls.
Parental discretion is advised.

Our Haunted Hike takes place outdoors through a wooded path. The terrain is manageable with some hills and valleys. Be sure to bring the proper footwear so you can navigate your way out. Night time gets chilly in a haunted area, so dress accordingly.

Please leave your pets and flashlights at home. If we find these in the path, or people vandalizing and/or abusing our props or actors, we WILL remove you from the property with no chance of re-entry.

YOUR ENTRY IS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. For more information on this, please see our disclaimer.

Find Us...

We are located at 241 Valley Point, on the South East corner of the Highway 21 and Baseline Road intersection. Look for our signs on the Highway, or see our Map.

From Wye Road (heading east): Turn left onto Highway 21, then go until the very last right hand turn before the Baseline intersection. Turn right into Valley Point subdivision and we are the first house on the left.

Bring a Donation...

We will grant you admission for a monetary donation of your choice, from which all the proceeds will be directed towards the Stollery Children's Hospital. Please help us support this fantastic facility, of which we are so lucky to have in our area.
